link dump!!!

obligatory disclaimer: just cuz i have someones site on here doesnt mean i support them or w/e it just means i like what they do with their site. im not paying attention to dni or w/e because this is. fucking neocities. dni's are irrelevant. but yeah be careful!

personal sites i think are neat:

noisehound button

they have pretty cool music taste and the site layout is very nice!!

the design is semi-crowded, but it's gorgeous- their artstyle tickles my brain.

i really like how there's like no divs and only really images and a bit of text, its cool.

i really like their spin on the minimal web; it's done really well + without the soulless minimalism you typically see in companies.

very fun idk how to describe it i enjoy perusing it

this so wac (evil giggle) cool site!!

wielant dot net

i don't quite know how to describe this, but its a trip for sure.. (flash warning)

ohh this site is so neat it makes my boycritter neurons happy

this site's super cool!!!! i really really like the layout

education sites:

all about mollusks :3

chem and molecular bio resources

all about coelacanths

some random science teacher's resources of zoology and biology

marxists internet archive

this has a variety of languages and collects a lot of info about marxism- seems interesting.

small science collective

website with a multitude of free science zines!

graphic resources:

dividers, favicons, stamps, blinkies, buttons, you name it!

mainly you guessed it- salvaged!- graphics like icons and textures collected from around the 'net. :)

favicons dot neocities

stamps, dividers, pixels, and other graphics! another cool thing is that they have different pages with different themes, which is what makes them stand out to me.

website design & accessibility resources:

a field guide to web accessibility

has a lot of good resources, tutorials, tips, and more about why and how it is important to make your websites accessible to all (something i am always working on!)

screenfly

a really cool tool- just chuck in a link to your or someone else's website and it shows what it looks like on different resolutions! (mine is... not good.)

entertainment:

aniwave

my go-to website for pirating anime- even without an adblocker it has hardly any ads. as well as that, the interface is pretty intuitive and when you log in it lets you keep track of things sort of like anilist. they also made one for manga!

mangafire

the same thing as before, but for manga! the only downside to either of these sites is that they dont have that "retro" (read as: more personalized and home-y) feel to them that sites like kissanime had- before it got shut down, that is. aside from that, though, these are some pretty damn nice piracy sites!
