today was super fun! it was an early release day at school, so that meant we got to leave a couple hours early. and because it was an early release day, we didn't *really* do anything important in class so it was pretty easy. and on TOP of that, my friend and i made plans to go to the library, record store, and then go get boba after school. i'm kinda a shut in who doesnt really leave the house except to go to school and the library, so it was a nice change of pace. it was double cool because i dont often walk places without like.. adults just because my friends dont typically invite me anywhere other than their houses. but i digress
anyway, it was super fun; my friend- lets call her C- met up with me outside the school once school was out, then she texted her friend A. A and I are on good terms, she's really nice and we're cool, I'm just not sure if we know each other well enough for me to call her my friend. well anyway, A couldn't meet up with us for a bit, but she would be able to later, so C and I walked down to the library (which is like really close to the school.)
at the library we ran into I and we were like heyy, and he sorta tagged along :3. C was looking at the dvds cuz she has a projector, and i put her on moonrise kingdom. (wes anderson) i also recommended knives out to her, and it turned out she had already watched it, but she grabbed it for a rewatch. also while we were there, i checked out the audiobooks cuz i have a cd player (i love my cd player!!) i got echo the audiobook, which is this massive book i read a few years ago that was really good, and i'd been meaning to reread. we also decided that we were gonna read twilight together (lol) and so she checked out the copy. i didn't check it out bc my sister owns the novels, i'll just have to dig through her shit to find it! (◠‿・)—☆
oh also at the library they have like a pile of books that theyre gonna get rid of cuz they dont have space and i found uhh dragonrider by cornelia funke i think? and also when i was checking out the new arrivals i saw this cool lookin book called "the fascination." it has the spraypaint on the page edges and the cover is really pretty. its also about twins that. get sold. who befriend an orphan. that gets kicked out from their residence..?? apparently its a gothic novel and it seems really interesting. but anyway, after that we started walking to the record store with I. after a little bit (i had already looked through the new arrivals) A popped up. i said hi n stuff, but i was more focused on the cds, yknow?
i had actually started digging through the "cheaper stuff" over in the corner; it normally ranged more from like $1-$5 (usd btw) instead of like $9-$10. some of them that i was looking at were hella dusty though. i ended up finding NIN (downward spiral) and some other stuff, but i ended up putting those back. they had she wants revenge and it was like $1 so i copped that, they also had (Only one, unfortunately) a soad cd, and it was hypnotize so i copped that one too!! oh, and while at the record store my friend I decided to leave, so we said bye to him.
after that, A said she wanted to stop by her house to get money for the boba place, since she left her wallet at home. we ended up walking all the way back to her house from the record store, and then after she got her wallet, we headed back over to go get boba. at that point it was like 4:30 so we had been hanging out for a couple of hours. (obviously throughout all this i was texting my dad lol)
anyway we all got boba, and the lady gave us the check, and then we were like "wait we wanted food" and C was embarrassed so she hid in the bathroom lol while A ordered the crab rangoon and fries. it was double funny cuz C was actually the one paying and they both forgot that so C had to slide her card under the door so A could get it.. (´；ω；｀)
anyway, after we got our food we walked back to A's place and ate there for a few minutes- while we were snacking I texted my dad to pick me up cuz C had to go too anyway and it was getting to be like 5:30. anyway we ate for a lil, my dad swung by to pick me up n i said bye. all in all it was hella fun tho!! i'm v glad that i was able to do this.
